For #1, I recognize that's a gap in our pipelines right now. If there's one large sweeping change that would be helpful, I might be able to make an ad-hoc change for you, if that would be helpful on this.

For #2, I can see how that could be useful! Right now, we do have the ability to create a custom dropdown field with limited options, so you may be able to simulate a fairly similar experience (although with no user icons). If you need any help setting that up, let me know.
